Dividing "Header" position into 2.

I become a member for only "postnote" template. It is great.

Now i need something: I want to divide header position into 2, and sizes as %65 and %35.

In old templates i can do it myself, but coding is different right now.

Can you help? And also can somebody say where can i play with modules? In which file?
