Connect mod_news_pro_gk4 to K2-category-overview

Hi,

I placed 18 mod_news_pro_gk4 at module-position top1 - top18.

I want to connect f.e. the mod_news_pro_gk4 on top1 not to an item of K2 but to the category overview of K2.

Is that possible and how can I do that?

If the module doesn't offer that possibility to configure it that way in Module Manager, maybe You can make a new Custom HTML module, fill it out how you want and make the text/image in that module link to the K2 category URL, which You have to find out beforehand.

EDIT: I just checked, under the modules configuration, there is even an option to change the "source of articles" to K2 Categories, i myself cannot verify this, because I uninstalled K2 completely, but maybe someone else can.

I know that there is this option but it will link not to categories but to an item of that category...
But I will try your first solution.
