this is the main body... go to template manager, and disable "show mainbody"

I just have a quick question about how the Main Body works and I apologize if I missed something really simple. I successfully loaded the demo site on my localhost and have been studying the configuration options for a little while now.

I see that the article in the Main Body position is a Joomla article, but the article itself isn't flagged as being posted to the Front Page. Could someone just briefly explain why the "Vestibulum vitae ligula nec." article is showing up in the Main Body?

When you enable mainbody on frontpage (on template parameters) you are using the component displaying Front Page Blog Layout. The layout is set on Basic Parameters of your "Home" menu. If you disable, it will be hidden. So what article will be displayed on frontpage. It's up to which article you set to display on frontpage and the respective configuration layout.

Another option that we provide on our template is the ability to use mainbody module position to display (naturally) a module. So instead of the Front Page Blog Layout, you will see any module on that position.

Thanks! I knew I missed something really simple. I hadn't used K2 before, so I got a little side tracked that night looking through all the options.

Thumbs up on the templates btw. I used the older Music Top template for another site, which worked out really well. Now, the PostNote template has inspired me to build a site for myself.
