Help to modification of menu height

Dear Gavick.com,

1) Is it possible to decrease the height of the menu bar in the top? I feel like it looks a bit "cheap" as it is now?

2) Is there a way to permanently decrease the size of the layout. I am not talking about using the tool button and making the columns less wide or making the letters smaller. Instead I would like to get the same effect as if I go to my browser menu and in "view" choose zoom out....so that everything becomes smaller and much easier to oversee. Is it somehow possible?

3) I am using the K2 modules on the frontpage and would like to use the K2 picture uploaded as the thumbnail on the frontpage and then have it link to a joomla article...shouldnt that be possible when in module manager setting the souce to "joomla" article and "use K2 picture" for thumbnail?...now it is not showing the K2 picture at all!?
