Hello,

I'm wanting to use the Search Button on the Search module but if I turn the button on, it's never aligned to the actual search box? It's always a bit higher? And the button position options don't seem to work?

Whilst I'm here, I have a few other questions.

With the Search box, where's the best position for it? I've tried lots of different positions and none of them seem to work best without it crossing over into other modules and I don't really want to have a Search module stretched across the whole width of the site.

The Tools bar on the top right. In the Demo, there's lots of options. All i have is Tools? How do I customise it?

And lastly, on the Demo, how do I get News Show Pro to look like the Portfolio items? I can't seem to change things to make it look like that?

Many thanks in advance.

Cheers!

if you populate the search to the "search position" it will look like the demo... with a search text in the upper corner, and when pushing it, a fade effect reveals the search box.

it would be way easier to install the quickstart package to see the settings of nsp4.. there is many settings you need to set right to get the exact look...

Heya,

I've just posted on the Quickstart-How To thread to cover my bases, sorry if I'm repeating.

I don't really understand how to use the Quickstart package and I've decided to start my whole site from scratch again.

My domain has cPanel and I've used Fantastico to install Joomla in the past so I don't really understand the procedures involved. I've deleted my previous Joomla installations.

I've downloaded the Quickstart package and unzipped the files.

I've created a new mySQL database.

And now I'm stuck, I don't know what to do here. You say in the instructions for Quickstart to transfer the unzipped files. How do I do this?

Sorry if I'm being stupid but help would be much appreciated!

Many thanks,

Steph

Never mind, thanks. Another user on the forum has given me instructions on how to do it.

Thanks!
