hi all,

i have a website, using mosets tree. I would like to change it with k2.

This template is great in webdesign and what i m looking for, to do this change.

These 4 columns, 2 rows are really nice in style, but i would like to ask something if anyone knows.

I would like to post new entries in k2 and take one box like in the portfolio. These 4 boxes to be for the latest entries and not as different module positions.

Does anyone know if i can do this modification??

Hi

That's quite simple.
On "Portfolio" block, each module is News Show Pro GK4 (now with K2 items support). So, instead of 4 modules you can use only 1 with 4 columns and 1 row. Or, if you still want to keep the same style layout (with 4 modules), you can use them exactly like the demo and from "First news number" parameters, set from which news you want to start to display items.

Cheers ;)

Hello again,

I tried to solve my problem but could not figure out exactly how to achieve.

I tried to make with the gk news 2 rows and 4 columns as you said but the result wasnt the happy one:)

I have in the same box 4 columns and 2 rows, but as i said in my first post i would like to have 4 different boxes as u have the 4 different modules.

I would like these 4 boxes to have the latest entries of k2 component.

i.e: if i post "Gavick theme 4" as an entry to get the last box of the row, then post another entry "gavick theme 3" to get the third one as the template has etc.

Thanks :D

you need to post a nsp gk4 in each position and then only 1 collum and 1 row and then only 1 article with art in each.

and to get the latest components you can use the first news number to define which articles to show...

my website is www.insidewin.com

i use mosets tree in my website,

i want to use k2 + news gk4 like your theme, with these 4 boxes. but every last entry to get the first box,

What u propose me is not what exactly the result that i want

Check my demo here:

www.profilmedia.gr/demo-insidewin

this is what i manage to do, it is different for your template

Hope you understand

as far as i understand you want 4 collums seperated like the demo (4 different boxes) where the first box has the latest item right? what do you want in the next 3 boxes?

Yes, you are right, each latest article should occupy one of these 4 boxes. When i update a new article it will go first, then the first article that i had before become second, the second it will go in third box etc.

okay this is actually fairly easy..

you make 4 different nsp gk4 with these settings:

position of module: bottom1
source of article : k2 categories - and pick the category you want shown.
first news number : 0

position of module: bottom2
source of article : k2 categories - same category as above
first news number : 1

position of module: bottom3
source of article : k2 categories - same category as above
first news number : 2

position of module: bottom4
source of article : k2 categories - same category as above
first news number : 3

let me know if you get it to work, else send me joomla panel access in a mail and i look at it...
