First, my compliments to the Gavick Team - WOW!!! I am in love with this company and the awesome templates/components you guys produce. As a webmaster, I am in awe and have great appreciation for your talents and what you put out.

Two issues:
1- I am not sure what is going on, but the text "Tools" shows up on the top of every page but the link just goes to "#" and nothing happens on the home page - no adorable text/font size change icons... nothing. I do have "Tools" enabled within the template... and it works on every other page, just not the home page.

2- I enabled "Search" module and it is published in the "search" module position but only the text link shows up. If you click it on the home page, it goes to a search page, but on all the other pages there is a nifty search box that slides up where it is published in the "search" module position, just like it is supposed to.

Here is my site for you to be able to see this weirdness in action... I'm running Joomla! 1.5.18.

Considering that all of these function just fine on every other page (and login and register work on ALL pages just fine) does this mean there is some sort of scripting conflict, i.e., jQuery and mootools or something? If so, how do I find out and what should I do to correct it?

I want to thank everyone in this community - helping each other is a big plus. In many other fora, people just post and then complain when there aren't answers. Answering each other (if we know a fix/workaround) is supremely helpful and makes Gavick set apart!!

If I need to debug in some way to be able to see what is conflicting (if that is indeed the case) if someone could show me how, that would be great. This is a brand new site and I love this template, I just need to make sure all the bells & whistles work

Hi

The problem is with the plubin called modalizer. Please also see the validation of the site, because I can see some problems with site displays.

Thank you for that. I disabled that plugin and viola! They work perfectly now. Could you explain to me how you see the 'validation' of the site? I would like to see that too and see what you see!

Thanks again~

From W3C standards, css validator and Markup validator

You just need to add your URL and the results will be displayed.

Yeap, that's perfectly alright, because this CSS errors are being validated on CSS 2.1 standards and this properties are supported by CSS3 standards.

That's why you have the option to enable or disable CSS3 styles on template parameters.

Cheers
