Hi Guys,

2 quick questions for you (sorry if it is an easy one)

1) is it possible to put an image in the background of the postnote template?

2) is it possible to change the size of the logo to accommodate a more 'square' shaped logo?

many thanks,
Spence

just kidding ;)

actually the background is atm an image, notice the brighter grey in the middle...

you can change the image located in /templates/gk_postnote/images/style1/bg.png for the light theme, and style2/bg.png for the dark theme.

if you want to change the logo to a more squared logo you have to edit the logo.png located from the gk_postnote/images folder

if you want a larger logo you have to edit the css file template.css located in /templates/gk_postnote/css/

hope it helps :)

Hi this template is doing the same thing as the Corporate 2 one was doing prior to its update - when changing the logo to a more square size it pushed the menu tabs up higher - can you advise.... thanks

Hi

You want the menu to be a little bit lower?

Please add this code at the end of template.css file:

Code: Select all
#gk-nav {
margin-top:90px;
}

thank you so much!! Very much appreciated... now if someone can assist with the Photoslide problem I would be one very happy camper! I put in a support ticker earlier for this http://borvo.webcity.com.au/~rya26283/ the photoslide I wanted 3 columns in the header with rotating images in 3 (or fading) something like the mystore template in the top.... mine is not doing what I am asking it to.. thanks again. rosemary.lindsay - there is no frontend editor for k2 items... that is only for joomla articles...

if you can't see the editor button we will need to see the page, and have administration rights.. you can mail me that and i can take a look and see if i can find the error :)

How was the issue resolved? I also am using Corporate 2 for developing a client's website and the edit pencil doesn't show up even when logged in as a super administrator on the front end. I removed the K2 extensions completely to see if that would fix it but still no pencil icon.

Please help, thanks.

sorry i didn't write the fix. :)

if you disable all print - pdf - email the pencil goes also. you will need to publish atleast one of these buttons :)

Thanks, but for some reason now when I enable any one of the reader tool icons in my global article parameters my article pages go blank and all I see is the page title at the top. Have you come across this before?

Appreciate your help :)

Hi

Please also search the forum, I;m sure I did answered that question before. The trick was to have all icons and than just hide it via css using:

Code: Select all
display:none;

but I do not remember the class name ;/

Fixed the problem. I had deleted JComments earlier which had caused a fatal error. All is now good. Thanks again. :)
