i forgot to mention that it DOES work if the article image is in the intro text but it doesn't if it's in the main article body.

Also.... This may be a new issue but it appears to double the image if the xml cleanup is turned off. Not sure if thats a bug or not but with the cleanup ON it strips all html tags out of the article.

Hi!

Anyone with anything on this? Not sure I'm getting it. Does it only create thumbs from images in the article 'intro' section? Before the readmore ?

NSP takes first image from article content, please try to use Standarized Joomla Layout and set intro image in article item options, then change image source in NSP to Joomla! articles option.

Ok. But.... that's exactly what I've done.

1) Standard Joomla article. (text, readmore, text with image)
2) Selected options in NSP to create/display thumb of first article image (full article)
3) No thumb

IF.... however, I put the image in the area of the article BEFORE the readmore (the intro), it DOES create/display the thumb correctly

Herein lies our problem.

But anyway, I've coded my own solution as the client could not wait.

As I said Joomla standarized layout is the best idea in this case.
