Sub-categories in virtuemart

Hi there!

I have the structure of my store like this:

1-Main category
1.1- Children Category
1.1.2 - Products
1.1.2.1 - Product

The problem is that in the main category i can only have the logos of my brands, but when i enter in the chidren categories, instead of appearing only the logos od the categories it also appears the products that i´m seeling.
How can i disable that. I want that the productas only appear when i enter the children category.

Hope that some of you guys can give me a hint because i´ve been around this all day.
