Add to Cart then background darkens

When a user clicks on ADD TO CART a notice window pops up. Is it possible to have the background darken similar to a picture popup?

This background is an image /images/tooltip_bg.png please try to replace it.

Thanks, but what I meant was for the whole background of the page to darken to show emphasis to the added to cart popup notice box. A similar effect happens when you click on a picture.
