The Home page alignment ?

Hello experts

I am new here and the quick start package did not work with me so I went to step by step but I still have problems. How can I solve the following :
• The home page aliment is not correct as in the demo
• How can I show “ Login , register ,tools” on the top
• I used photo slide show GK3 and I created the categories and slides but it still not working.

01. there is many parameters to change to get the same look - why did the quickstart not work? by far the easiest way to accomplish the same look...

02. enable login in login position... - download the rest file, and install the gk_register module and publicate it in the register position...

03. can be many thing, will have to see backend - but my guess is you don't have the imageshow module publicated with the right group from photoslide component...
