I'm waiting since 19/10/2010 18:53 and still no response. lol All I wanted to know was how to access the exclusive pro support, which is stated in the sales pitch as if it's some sort of benefit as part of the dev membership. I think I misread it - it should read 'illusive pro support!' :dry:

This is the PHP function. You probably do not have a propper version of the PHP. This is not an error from any of our product.

Hi tietbite,

You won't remember the post as it was a direct email to the support contact on the contacts list, 'Robert'. In fact I sent a follow up 48 hours after the original, which has also be left unanswered!

How are we supposed to access the 'Exclusive Professional Support' which is supposed to be apart of the Developer Membership? I see no ticket system, there for I assume it would be through the contacts page, which I attempted to use and drew a blank.

I've always understood it as the Forums were for Support here at Gavick.com

Please write You questions on the forum and bump it often :) I'm getting 500 mails daily with question from the forum, so sometimes my mailbox doesn't download something from the server. The support mail works for the user's account's issues :) I'm just trying to imagine what Paulina does reciving a programming question :D

The question is simple where is it and how does one access it?

Thanks but you have already answered my question. I understand now that there is no exclusive pro support service. Maybe the 'Join Us' page should be corrected to represent what is actually included.

Developer Members are granted unlimited bump rights in our community forums! Not really got the same ring to it though. :silly:

I think your work load is a little excessive @500 mails per day are you in a union?

Yea, I would have started in the Community Support Forum and worked my way up the ladder since there are no other references to Help or Support on this website.

As you can see, it's the best way to get a response, and emailing the site isn't.

Let this be a lesson learned for everyone :)

Are you for real?

Why is there a separate line stating access to forums with a big red tick followed by EXCLUSIVE professional support with another big red tick? There is a problem with that picture! I have not seen hide nor hair of this benefit for dev members. My question has been consigned to the trash directory.

Why would I expect to seek exclusive help in a non exclusive forum? That's an oxymoron surely.

Either there is exclusive pro support with a point of access or there is no exclusive help. The conclusion I have drawn is there is none! Which means the 'Join Us' page is making a false claim and miss selling - which in this country is an offence! And quite possibly comes under European distance selling legislation.

Here have a hanky there seems to be something on the end of your nose! ;)

Hi

Soon the number of supporters will be extended so there will be no such big gaps in the responses. The new method of support will be installed. With functionality to send the access data to the joomla panel and ftp to the person which will be leading Your case.

Thanks for the information teitbite.

Unfortunately that doesn't excuse or explain the misrepresentation on the 'Join Us' page. As there is no Exclusive support for the dev members, that claim should be removed from the the page period!

Who the hell do you think you are? Do your speak as a representative of GAVICK? NO!

Do you represent me or other users? NO! Did you pay my bill? NO!

Where do you get off...telling people they should learn a lesson, when clearly the service has been misrepresented? Rhetorical!

Why would I subscribe to a service and then have some clown on the web, who thinks they're a developer, advise me in a third party capacity, when I have explicitly signed up for the professional services, of a specific company? The said company who made the claim that they offered such a service!? I wouldn't!

If you're happy to accept substandard services, then that's your choice, and a matter for your principles and personal ethical view. My business ethic is obviously out of kilter with yours! If I say I will deliver something I deliver and I expect the same in return!

To be quite honest your opinion on this issue is ridiculous, either you struggle with comprehension or you lack good business ethic, possibly both. As such your input is of no value and I can't take you seriously! You have deliberately delivered pointless comments, with a pathetic attempt to be patronising. Which seems to be a trait of yours, going by your posting style on other threads. As you seem to be intent on bring controversy, into this debate purely for the sake of it, I have no further interest in you contribution with regard to this subject!

I even went to the trouble of giving you pictures to look at, in order to help you grasp what is a simple concept. I failed obviously - I have no idea how I can simplify it any further to aid you.

I have been following this thread from the start and you have been kinda rude to ThatComputerDude (Is English your first language? Hard to tell on the web.) when he didn't even say anything rude.. You should really think about what you are saying before you act like this with people who are just trying to help you out. Everybody is in this forum to help so be nice and post your question without starting an argument.

It has nothing to do with the fact that people here are helping others. The point is the claim that exclusive professional support is part of the package, is false nothing more nothing less.

The only reason I replied to your thread was to let you know, that there will be no help desk support!

Thanks for the reply. Great news, would you please explain where I should access the exclusive support area? The thing is I didn't find any mention of a 'developer forum' after sign up. That was the point of my question as that is what I had expected.

I contacted Robert two weeks ago and asked that question and to date no reply!

The debit on the bank account would suggest that is what was paid for. As yet it would appear the account is not a Developer account - hence the confusion.
