URGENT: ADV_TOP CSS problem

Hi,
please help me on this question.

In my template i installed Jomsocial. Jomsocial have a toolbar on top frontpage. For any other link of joomla this toolbar disappare. So, i installed a new module that insert a Jomsocial toolbar on any position module.
I inser this on ADV_TOP position of myStore template, but on top and on bottom are a spacing (maybe padding??).
How i can modify a css for allinied th toolbar module with the original toolbar?

haven't played with js so not sure what im lookin for here.. can you point me in the right direction with an image
