nop... you will just need to overwrite the files that are changed...

click the updates button in the top of this page, and see which files need to be replaces... remember also to look back on other updates if your not up to date :)

Hi,

I tried to update gk_mystore!

http://www.gavick.com/updates.html?task=update&id=127

There you wrote: "For upgrade: please replace old files with the new ones."
Sorry, but I don´t understand which old files I have to replace!

For every update there's a list of files that have been updated.
Example: the latest update (2.0.8):
Code: Select all
Changed files:

- templateDetails.xml
- layouts/blocks/cufon.php
- libs/gk.template.helper.php

So you should check out these files for any changes that you might have made youself and then overwrite the old ones with these ;)

Hi

By "old files" we mean the files You had on Your server. Probably the changes was so big that it's better to replace the whole template.

Thank you teitbit for your answer.

Mean that to me, I replace now all files of "mystore Version 1.0.1" with "mystore Version 2.0.8",
exept the files I modified?

Hi

That is not so simple. I do not know what have You changed, but if the changes were made to the key files of the update than the whole site may not work. Safier will be to use the new version of the template and that copy the changes from the od one. Trying not to mess the code which is already there.
