Installed template, not showing any modules, only menu

Hi, I just installed the myStore theme, which I found lovely, but my site is no longer displaying any products, modules virtuemart cart, articles, etc.



My store used to look like this before the template was installed:

If I get a link from google though, I can see the item, but can't navigate to it.

If you click on add to cart and try checking out, checkout will not come up either. There is no cart module shown either, but it adds to cart still.

Using a different theme estore from gavick pro, the modules are shown. That means there is a setting wrong with this template.

Please help me get the products to be viewable on my page.

Hi

eStore and myStore are made on diffrent frameworks so the module positions are called diffrently. You need to assign it again.

Hi, I am still experiencing problems having the products and products list showing up. When you click a category, it does not show products and stays the same as the home page, although the title in Internet explorer is showing the product page title. Can anybody help?

For example, I can get a product from virtuemart to show in the module "featured products" but nothing shows up when I click the categories page. No items are showing up either. I think its a module position problem again. In page source I can see that there are things that are there but that arent displaying on the page.

Is K2 required for this template and if so what do i do with it?

Hi, here's an update on my problem: When I click product links from my home page, they do not display at all, but if I click them from a different page lets say "Contact Us" page, everything works perfectly. Try it out.

My only problem is getting the products, categories, checkout and everything to work directly from the home page. This seems like an easy problem and I've spent my whole day trying to fix it I would greatly appreciate if anyone can help me.

Hi, another thing I would like to know is how to make modules appear only on frontpage (home page), such as GK Photoslide, GK image show, GK news tab. These modules when published, appear with products, categories and checkout etc.

There is a way in the backend for templates to fix this but I am not sure what to put in the parameters. Is there any forum post already on this (I tried searching for it but did not find any) and will there be a pdf file available soon? PDF file will help us greatly and will answer many easy questions and save time for u guys.

Have You tried the menu attachment option at any module configuration page ?

I tried going in a few modules (GK image show, Gavick Tab 1) and found menu assignment and set it to home only, but the module still shows up with my products page, categories page, and virtuemart checkout page. But the modules don't show up in Contacts page, FAQ page and Web links page.

Maybe I did not make myself clear. I would like to set the modules GK Image Show and GK Tab to be only displayed on home page (index.php).

VM is using frontpage. I got one idea but it will need to put some additional code so maby before I'll start to digg in Your site the good idea it to check VM forum for this problem. If You do not find anything please send me ftp access details.
