remove the dropdown menus

I Need to REMOVE the dropdown menu on the horizontal main Menu, i.e. remove the code that render the drops, I have a submenu, that I want to hide, but it have to be active..
That means its the rendering of the menu (sub menus) I need to remove from the template,

Where is that code?

I use a K2 item as frontpage..

why do you want to hide it ??

what i have done to get hidden menu points, i made a new menu called hidden menu, and make it visible for special users... then i can still link to the menu point without making it visible...
