photoslide component image links to product categories

hi there,

i was wondering if it's possible to link the images within a photoslide group to VM product categories, too.
or at least to assign them custom weblinks.

how is this done with the myStore template??

any help is apprechiated!

The template view of the Photoslide in this template is linking only to products. If You want to change it than some changes in code will be needed. Try maby remove the module view from template and set some standard photoslide instead.

I've already made a little hack to support VM product categories.
I created a separate myStore style in the mod_gk_image_show(style4).
But it doesn't support VM product tooltips that original myStore template provide.

Basically you have to set vm category id same format as product SKU in the photoslide component:
Link type - Own link
Link - vm:CATEGORY=9

In the module, you have to select 'Module Type' to 'myStore style' and 'Style variation' to 'style1'.

* the attached zip file is not installable. You have to override them into existing module.
