Hi!

The issue is related to Virtuemart. I can Add products to cart but whenever I want to checkout or to use a Virtuemart module or any other VM thing it redirects me to the home page. I don't know the reason for this since a few days ago it was working fine.

To tell you some more things, I'm using MyStore template in a proyect. And I have also bought the k2mart component (I don't know if this information is relevant). I'm not sure if the problem started before or after the installation of k2mart.

Does anybody know what should I do or change?

Thanks!

EDIT: Now some things are working and others are not. I'm thinking the problem is related to the fact that I activate the SEF URLs and Apache mod_rewrite. So, if the VM URL is SEF, everything works great. Otherwise, not.

What should I do to fix all the URLs?

Hi

I'm sure this doesn't have anything with K2mart.
From what you describe, i bet that you don't have VirtueMart Component added on some menu. You see... VM needs to be available on some menu, even if not visible. Only this way you can see the VM pages with full component width.
Also, you probably have some module published on mainbody module position, assign to frontpage, or you have mainbody disable on frontpage (check template parameters)

Returning to VM menu issue... since you need to have it linkable on some menu and if you don't want to displayed for your users, you can create a new menu module, published on (for example) tab1 module position and this way, the VM link is validated on joomla by templateDetails.xml file.

Hope this helps.

Cheers ;)

Thanks Seichina! It was true that I haven´t the Virtuemart component in any menu. have tried what you said but with no success.

And I didn't understooud what your were trying to tell me here:

"Also, you probably have some module published on mainbody module position, assign to frontpage, or you have mainbody disable on frontpage (check template parameters)".

Y have mainbody disable on frontpage but this was the configuration of myStore template. What should I do?

I'm still thinking the problem is related to SEF URLs and Virtuemart. I have read in other forums that there are some problems with this component when you enable SEF URLs but I don't know how to fix it. Any ideas?

Thanks again!

Cheers.

Well, the SEF URLs for user with english language on the site where ok. But the Spanish URLs where the one's giving problems. I changed the SEF URLs for spanish users and now everything seems to be working great.

Thanks Seichina!

Cheers.
