Normal Read More... Button Not Working

Hello,
For some reason the normal "Read More..." and "Page Break" features aren't working in this template. I'm NOT referring to the K2 Read... feature.

I have the Global Configuration - "Read More... Link" set to SHOW.

All advanced parameters are set to - Use Global.

I have no clue why these features aren't working now, but I have never had a problem using them in the past.

If anyone could help with this, it would be greatly appreciated.

I haven't launched the site yet but it's easy to explain.

I'm using Joomla Version 1.5.18
I have the tinymce editor version 3.3.8

Back end: When using the Read More... feature a red dotted line appears where it's inserted. I click Save or Apply

Front end: Refresh the browser and the Read More link is not there. Instead, the whole article appears.

I'm fairly certain all parameters are set correctly:

Global Configuration: Read more...Link SHOW
Advanced Parameters: USE GLOBAL

Any ideas?

Just upgraded to tinymce editor 3.3.9

this sounds like a permission issue to me...

maybe try changing the editor to another one...

would be way easier if we could see the site,:)

Do you have a suggestion regarding an alternative editor?

I recommend the JCE editor.

I've updated my editor to the latest JCE.
It's still not working!
I can't believe how much research I've done without an answer.
Is anyone else having the same problem.

All parameters related to this plugin seem to be fine and are the same as the quickstart.
Using Joomla 1.5.20
Uninstalled and reinstalled joomla and the latest mystore quickstart template
Read More feature works fine in other templates
Read more feature does not work in this template

Read more only seems to work if content is being displayed in a module. If I create a regular article and try breaking that article up with the read more button it doesn't work.

Seriously what's the deal?
Is this feature working for anyone?
Can someone try this and get back to me with a result?
I've been trying to resolve this for far too long now.

I've checked my installation of the myStore template and read more button works fine O.o Its are the same files as in the quickstart and tgz package.

I tried that virtuemart with jComments works.

I have made in / administrator / components / com_virtuemart / html / shop.product_details and / shop.browse.php some changes.

Here's my suggestion. Don't make changes on common classes. This will effect all elements.
If you need any small adjustment, be more specific on the respective element.
So, i would get all back and try adding this code, for example:

If i recall well, this small css fix was added on one of the latest updates.
