Problem with frontpage viewer

I really like the mystore template, and I like the design of the frontpage photoviewer.
I'm not using the webshop solutions of this template.

But I want the 3 pictures on the frontpage, just like the demo page but without a link to the shop. If I'm trying to it, I get an error in some template files:

...../templates/gk_mystore/html/mod_gk_image_show/content.php
..../templates/gk_mystore/html/mod_gk_image_show/template.php

So i want the same design as the demo page, but with just some photos with a lightbox link or something.

is there any way to resolve this?
