First day

For some time I was working with other templates and now I am trying gavick. Nice design and ideas, but the time will show who is who

Talking about mystore: I am a little bit confused with virtuemart+K2 as I never used K2 before. How they work together as from quick start I can see that they have different products. Why is that ? If I will start creating my own shop, where to fill all products, categories and so on.. in K2 or in VM ?

Also had many issues with permissions as never had so many before.

VM and K2 in myStore are not working together. You will need to choose one of them. The two versions are already there to show users that this template is capable of hendling this two components.

What's the problem with permissions?

Thank you for your answer. Well permissions problems maybe related to hosting more then to template I will try to figure out everything my self.

The cart in mystore (on the top right corner) is not working with K2 ? As when I add item listed in K2 it is not show in cart in home page. Only products from VM will be shown ?

Also I had problem with GK4 not showing K2 content and K2 categories not showing how many items are in category, but the problem disappeared itself. Last night it was not working, I didn't do anything as I was sleeping and today everything fine.. Mysterious fix from GK as somewhere in the forum I posted link ?

Permissions on the files and directories should be set by You right after installation please see the documentation to see which one should be set as writable.

For K2 cart You must use an aproppriet module, the default one is for VM products only.

The problem with showing articles is probably because of cache. You need to disable it during working on the site or clear it after every change

The thing is that I already use it, as this is integrated in mysotre quick start package. And well it is not working: http://prezikai.lt/index.php?option=com ... Itemid=191 and choose to continue shoping after "add to cart". And you will see that cart in top of the page is empty..
