Hallo :)

This is my first post here and i'm really happy joinning you.

I have a little problem with the quickstart.

My host provider doesn't allow me to create database via sql query, so i can't run the quickstart.

Is it possible to upload a backup version of the demo database so i can import it and have all the necessary data?

Hi

Joomla installer used in Quickstart doesn't create a database either. You have to make it manualy or give the name, user and password to an existing database.

Then can you please tell me why the database is empty after installation?

Hi

Hm. Maby You are using an access for user who do not have aproppriet rights to create tables.

Please try import the database manualy. The sql_dump.sql file can be found in install directory.
