Latest products = no add to cart mod /link

I created a item in K2 and virtumart. I dont know if I need to do both as there is no doc, but i just tried to copy the demo data.

Anyway, when viewing the item from the latest items module, there is no link to add to cart. When I find the item via a list, the product displays great.

I also noticed there is no add to cart on the hot products.

Figured it out.

In the K2 item the price needs to be set in the content tab. I did not see it because the field is under the page fold, due to the wysiwyg editor.

Now, onto trying to adjust the style of the page Is there a way to mark this as resolved?

Please understand that K2 Store and Virtuemart Components are completely independent and don't have any relationship. We only provide style support for both components. In other words, if you want to use the template as shop (makes sense ), you can choose VM or K2 Store.

Anyway, here's great news: From the oficial blog,K2 Team is preparing a plugin that will integrate K2 with VirtueMart.
So, here's another great option for your store.

The template with demo data has content published from both VM and K2 witch means you have two separate shopping carts. This explains why I have been struggling.

Basically you have to pick one or the other, unless you want to wait for K2 to publish the plugin. Oh boy, wish I would have known this prior.

Well, I guess I will chose VM because I dont see any built in shipping info in K2. Is there a module in VM that will fit in the home page of your template in replacement of the K2 latest products module that looks nice?

The K2 lastest products module is not from K2. It's our News Show Pro GK4 module that support also articles from K2.

You have "VM Latest Products" module from VM. We only provide style support on this one. From us, we added Image Show Module special design for this template, working with PhotoSlide GK3 that have now VM products support.

Like everything else in life, after you made some experiences, "play" around a little bit with all tools available and maybe some others that you might add from joomla extensions directory (check specific Vm modules available there), you can achieve easily the objectives that you plan for your store.

Hi.. do you mean that its not possible to use this module with the categories or products we have registered in VMs section? I only find options for Joomla articles and K2 products
