making MyStore work without VM

hi.
i don't want to install VM on a site i'm working on (there's no need for a real store but the template sits perfectly for this account).
how do i get the places that "need" VM to work without it? especially the Image Show and the Product Scroller sections...

the product scroller is a vm module. why not just run with the vm and then make it catalogue only. thi way all the shopping cart etc. is off..

i dont want the VM on this site, for various reasons.
what about the Image View?

Please try use diffrent style for GK Image Show.

I have the same problem...MyStore template is perfect for my website, but i dont need the VM, my web site crashed when i tried to disable VM module, but i do need it, becouse, i want to link the images from the Image Show to Articles and not to Products from VM.

Please, can you help me?

Does choosing diffrent style for Photoslide did not worked?

But i like to much this style, is the best for me. I f i cant link the images of image show, then i prefer to turn in unlinkeable, is it possible?

In my production the VirtueMart Product Scroller is not enabled and the top module is for sure a combination of photoslide & the VM cart.

Second: I have created a new group in photoslide and when selected as the group to show in the module the images do not show.

When the images/slides are added in the Photoslide GK3 - Mainpage it shows the choice for your own link. Yet, when placed in, it still seems that VM must have a product to match the image and the link must come from VM.

I want the slide of images that link to wherever & not to the VM cart. I still want the slide to function with the 3 set rotating images.

How can this be done?

Sorry this module style works with VM only. I do not know how to make this to work witout VM but You can buy my time to investigate it and rewrite. Please mail me if You're interested.
