Where can I can change language, or what files I need to translate to have it on my own language... shooping cart, Item page etc

most language files are placed in languages in root of your site...

you can find language files for virtuemart on the virtuemart page (www.virtuemart.org) and for joomla at the joomla.org...

look through these to change for the none virtuemart or joomla languagefiles

I have one big problem, I cant find where can I change "translate" text in module "ask a question about this product" is this a module or VM plugin or TAB... I can find it anywhere.

And price tag is big problem, I have first "$100" instead "100$" I want to have number then currency

I have the same problem. Most things have been translated by VM, but some things remain in english(as leobar021 mentioned, "ask a question about this product" is one example of a option that doesnt get translated) . Also, i would personally like to re type some words and sentences, as they are not the most suited translations.

In addition im having some problem with the currency display. Even if i set the right currency on my VM control panel, the system still display the amount in dollar on my front end

this should really be asked in the vm forum since it's not a template feature

else try search the folder including files for the text .


for the currency it works for me... make sure you changed everything here:

store > edit store >

currency
currency symbol

and most important :

list of accepted currencies.

if all is changed, then try to clean cache and see if that aint helping.

You can change "ask a question" in path .../administrator/components/com_virtuemart/languages/shop/"your language.php"

virtuemart is not the best to use joomla language file srtucture..

for the 2nd, i don't know which page that is. can you show me live url? it is most properly the com_user.ini that you gotta change.

What you recommend to use for e-shop component? If I use another (Magento, zen-cart) would be the whole page same as by virtuemart? I mean CSS layout. I use Virtuemart from my first e-shop site.

the language file com_user dont have this sentences.

url : www.tonaj.eu, i need slovak language.

magento is not joomla, and therefor the css etc will mostlikely not work.. zen-cart i dunno what is...

I find out how to translate.

First sentence : /public_html/administrator/components/com_virtuemart/languages/ - find your file and transalte what you need, or you can download the whole translation

Second sentence: /public_html/modules/mod_gk_register/mod_gk_register.php - below of the document you can find this sentence.
