photoslide GK3 not working - mystore

as i wait to have the virtuemart issue fixed. I decided to play around with the photoslide feature. So i created another group and started adding slides with images, I'm not adding anything on the text fields or links. Just uploading images and saving. When I click on the source image icon for the slides they all show but they don't show on the front page even after changing the module parameters to reflect the new group.
