pb with product

hi,

i have a probleme, it's impossible to view the product when i click on the picture ? ( with virtuemart )

the name off the page and the URL change but not the apparence !

exemple : http://www.sokite.com/index.php?page=sh ... t&Itemid=1

could you help me ?

I don't work here, and I'm just guessing, but you may want to enable Mainbody/Component. This is usually a feature in Gavick templates from the admin backend - templates, but I have not yet worked with this template.

I'm just trying to help by throwing that out there.

well if u try the following thing:
go to the url u provided,
but remove the letters "&itemid=1" from the url.
I mean,
go to this link: http://www.sokite.com/index.php?page=sh ... virtuemart

Isn't this what u're looking for?

I'll explain the problem here:
u haven't assigned a Major Virtuemart menu item,
and joomla needs a menu to try to sort a tree to its contents
so joomla assigned it to an itemid of its choice (itemid 1 i mean)
which leads to the problem u described above

what's the solution?
go to the Menu Manager, and go to Main Menu (where the list of items are)
click "New"
select "virtuemart" as a menu item type
and here is the most important step:
leave the fields under "Parameters (Component)" empty
i mean:
"Product ID" should be left blank
and "category ID" should be left blank too
don't forget to add a name and all the stuff
save

refresh ur page
click on the link
and voila!

It seams that you already fix it.
You probably didn't add any VM link on the mainmenu, right?
