How to Collapse K2 Categories Menu

I've just downloaded myStore template and am trying to setup the K2 Store, I've got so far about 10 categories and many subcategories under each one of them at least more than six under each. At the front end the K2 Categories menu displays the main categories in an expanded format resulting in a long menu that makes the page very long.

How do I get to collapse the menu and show only the main categories so that a user has the option of expanding and collapsing the menu?

You are talking about accordion menu. Unfortunately we do not have such extention, but I believe there must be at least couple on joomla extention site.

Thanks for getting back teitbite, the menu in question is created using K2 tools and list K2 store categories and it is displayed in the right_top position on any of the pages that displays a K2 Item.

I would like to display the first level of the categories but be able to expand and collapse a category on click but the K2 Tools does not give enough controls it only give you setting root category, changing the levels, order by and Items counter options only.

Unfortunately am work on a local server at the moment and I've not uploaded the site, but I hope the description of the issues is vivid enough.
