Template doesn't work on new host

Template doesn't work on new host. Site works on other host, now moving to a VPS and it doesn't work.
Default template does work.

The admin site works without issue, however the front page displays the white page of doom.

I have done the usual steps of enabling the errors - adding the display errors and whatnot to the index.php in the template directory. Nothing is displayed.

Nothing other then favicon makes it into the apache error logs, nothing in the php error log.

I'm at a loss. Where do I go from here??

Never found the problem. Rebuilt the vps and now it does work.
