Parse error on minicart.tpl.php when browsing the FrontEnd

Hi there, i am getting the below error after installing the Quickstart install on my local PC;
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in C:\xampp\htdocs\KandKGavick\components\com_virtuemart\themes\default\templates\common\minicart.tpl.php on line 97 (see attachment)

I found one person having the same issue in your forum, but couldn't find a solution for it. Also i think there is something wrong with the VirtueMart install, which doesn't show up in the control panel see attachment.
I have downloaded the Quickstart twice, and installed it twice, with the same results.

In addition to this i am missing some kind of documentation, for instance about the modules which can be used and their location, can you point me to a location where i can find this ?

Firstly, please try to reinstall VM component, probably if VM icons are missing something goes wrong.

Which version can i install 1.1.9 (i am using joomla 1.5.25)?

OK i have uninstalled VM and reinstalled VM (1.1.9), which didn't give me the missing VM icon in the Control panel, but it seems to work now (probably something wrong with your quick start install).

Another question why is K2 (store) installed if VM is already installed is this necessary or just for demonstration purposes only ?
