Footer Information does not appear in Internet Explorer 8

The footer information (copyright info etc) does not appear in internet explorer 8. This is the part of the template that gets updated via the template manager (not a module). How can this issue be corrected? The website address is www.parrishhomehealthcare.net. It appears fine in Firefox.
