Error updating the gk corporate2 quickstart from 1.6 to 1.6.1

Hi...

I'm using XAMPP 1.7.1 (which cames with PHP 5.2.9 )

I installed gk_corporate2_quickstart_J!16 on my localhost XAMPP 1.7.1 successfully.

Now I tried to update joomla 1.6 that came with gk_corporate2_quickstart_J!16
and the joomla backend returned me exactly the following:


* JFolder::create: Could not create directory
* Unable to create destination
* Install path does not exist


* Error updating COM_INSTALLER_TYPE_TYPE_.


Can someone tell me how to solve this?
