I am using the corporate 2 template. I created a mainmenu menu item called member content. I would like this to be displayed when the visitor is not logged and when the visitor registers and logs in. I also created a registered section and registered category that holds articles that I want displayed only to registered members when they click on the member content menu link. When the visitor clicks on the member content link, I would like it to say something like you are not authorized, you must register to view this content. Do you have any idea how I would do this? Here is the URL: http://www.tradeumbrella.com

Thanks!

Hi
To hide link you can set Access Level in Menu Item Details as Registered.

Hi Konrad,

Yes, but I would like this: "I would like this to be displayed when the visitor is not logged and when the visitor registers and logs in." Meaning, I want the menu item Member Content there at all times. Not just when the member logs in. If I set it to registered as you suggested, it disappears and is only there when the user logs in -- this is not what I want. I look forward to hearing from you!

Thanks!

Hi
I relly don't know if it is possible. I would try ask on joomla forum if it is possibility to show alternative text for menu links when you aren't registered.
