Gavick image show stuck on preloader

I am using the gavick corporate 2 template. I noticed that other modules depend on the Gavick Image Show module being set in place. I want to use the Gavick Image Show as an "Image Rotator" however, when i switch to this option, it has only the preloader and never displays the slides. When i click firebug, I can see that the slides are existing, just never loading into slideshow.

URL removed.

The module works perfectly fine when set to Module Style: "Template Style"

But when I change to Module Style: "Image Rotator" the images do not load into slideshow.

Nevermind trying to fix my issue. If its a known bug, someone can greatfully post the solution for the next person. I ended up turning off the GK Image Show, and installed a different 3rd party slideshow and gave ti the same module suffix. This one does the job.

That's a small bug. Please go to modules/mod_gk_image_show/js/styleX/engine.js and in line 10 please change "getElemen" to "getElement".

Files of the extension with this fix are updated.

do you have to reload all the files to fix the updates because if I try and do this I keep gettin error messages.

Get the same message for all the files. Also tried going to my cpanel to change the file that you suggested and couldn't even find that file to change.

This messages means that You cannot overwrite the component using joomla installer. I suggest to easily overwrite the component files via FTP.

I am having the same problem. That is, I'm using Corporate 2 and want to use the Image Rotator function but it is not loading.

I want to use it in Image Rotator mode because I don't want to display any text or links in the header.

However, it doesn't load. It just has the little loading symbol going on forever.

I've checked the spelling in the Style js files. They are all ok now. Still the problem continues.

Have You changed the settings to the Image rotator should have ? The txt file with the needed one is in the module package.

Yep. I just changed it to the right text now but it hasn't made any difference.

Is there anything else I need to change? It was working fine when the Module style was set to Template.

Any help would be appreciated.
