Hi

I have my own set of cufon fonts converted to full unicode for Central Europe. However, upper fonts with diactric marks above the letter for <h2> are converted into standard latin. It looks like all diactric marks above the letter are cut out. All diactric marks below the letter are OK. The same for small letters.
Please let me know if there is any solution for this issue.

please search the forum on how to change the cufon font.

we only include basic english chars.. you will need to make your own cufon,.. i've made a guide in this forum a while back.

It is my own cufon font. The issue is connected only with upper letters having diactric marks above the letter. They are converted into standard latin. Upper letters with diactric marks below and small letters work without any problems. I have no idea if this issue is connected with cufon script, or formatting in the template cutting out the space above standard height of the upper letter.

I enclose how it looks like in Firebug:

<cufon class="cufon cufon-canvas" alt="Ä " style="width: 15px; height: 24.2px;"><canvas width="30" height="25" style="width: 30px; height: 25px; top: -4px; left: -1px;"></canvas><cufontext>Ä</cufontext></cufon>

Canvas block looks like having a sufficient space for diactric marks above the upper letters but cufon block has its upper edge 4px lower.

Hi

You must create your own font here: http://cufon.shoqolate.com/generate/

You need to select options, depending of your native language encode and text style wanted.

I did it exactly in such way. The unicode range in the cufon options covers needed languages and my source font contains it. However, as I mentioned before, the js procedure generating cufon fonts seems to cut out all which is above the standard upper latin letters height. All letters having diactric marks under the letters are OK, and small letters are also OK. In Firebug I can see a visible shift in 'cufon' block which is 4px lower than 'canvas' block which causes that upper edge of 'cufon' block is at the same height as standard upper letters.

It seems that the part between upper edges of both blocks is simply cut out. I have no idea if the issue is connected with cufon generator or java script code in the template.
