I would like to thank you all for the support on these forums, i have received a lot of answers.

My Website- http://www.hthcard.com
My Template- Corporate 2

My Issue- I am an amateur when it comes to website design but I was hoping that someone could help me find a way to make my image in Banner1 position (hometown hero card logo) fit the size of my *main content* under "all widths" of the template.

Using Tools options I can alter the size of my template to Large, Medium Small *top right, 1 symbol* The problem that I see is that different computers have different default widths Laptop, widescreen etc. I need to find a way to make sure this image stays contently at the width of the *main body*.

Option 1: I would love it if I could fix my template to only be one size default to all screens

Option 2: Ability for my logo fit with all sizes of all templates and not looked warped or weird.

Thank you for your support. I will provide any additional information needed.

to get a static width, disable the tools from the template manager AFTER you choose the width you want.

if you want the abillity to still use the font decrease and increase, you can add this at the end of the templates.css

Code: Select all
#gk-tool-auto,#gk-tool-wide,#gk-tool-narrow { visibility:hidden }

this will hide the abillity to change the width of the template.

i can't really come up with any good way of making the logo floating 100% to the page width, without stretching it in any way... so this would be the best solution imo...

i deleted the other post you made, please try not to post the same more times :) thought this forum was the most appropriate..

another thing... i see the "tools" on the www is named 1. did you rename the template folder?
if so, remember to rename the language file aswell : en-GB.tpl-gk_corporate.ini or something like that.

also ... welcome to gavick ;)

I have no need for the tools except personally when I was developing. I wanted to make sure it looked good with all sizes *laptop, desktop*

So what your telling me is that, it will default to the size of the template *980* if I just take tools off? I am going to try this.

If this is not the case, is it possible to load a large size of the logo (which would match the largest setting for main content* and when small screens reduce the size of the website the logo will deduce as well?

Again, sorry for the double post, i was not sure which forum it would be answered in. :) I have received a lot of answers for the boards so thank you Gavick Team.
