the original template has 4 positions under the header.
top1, top2, top3, top4
Now I removed top2 and top3 module and now the top1 on the left side of the screenshot and top2 on the right side are to big.

can I change the module size now...so the top4 will move more to the right.

the top positions are floating. this means if you only enable 1 module in top 1-8 it will fill the whole screen, if you enable 2 then it halfs each etc...

see this page :

http://demo.gavick.com/joomla15/apr2010/index.php? option=com_content&view=article&id=50&Itemid=97

i would suggest you use the right1 or right2 or inset 1 or inset2 to get that look you want... in the template manager you can choose how wide you want those positions...
