Hi folks

I have never used MegaMenu before and am trying to work out how to configure the Corporate2 template MegaMenu to act the same as the PostNote one does, in the way of the 2nd level menu allows it look like a Group Title, with a border around it and then the real menu items underneath it. Is this possible?

Cheers

this is how the megamenu group looks like in corporate2. if you want the same look as in postnote, you will have to play with the css files. But that is a custom work...

thanks for the prompt reply, but this is my issue, I am unable to simply get the "group 1" / "group 2" to display , as per your image, I get the arrow next to it, same as your image represents for submenu1 etc. I am obviously doing somehting wrong, but seem unable to get this working as expected.

Cheers

what i have here is 7 menu points.

01 - group test - set advanced parameter to 2 collums.
02 - group1 - set advanced parameter to group, set this as a submenu for the group test.
03 - group2 - set advanced parameter to group, set this as a submenu for the group test.
04 - submenu1 - set this as a submenu for the group1.
05 - submenu2 - set this as a submenu for the group1.
06 - submenu3 - set this as a submenu for the group2.
07 - submenu4 - set this as a submenu for the group2.

hope this helps out :)

OK, I think I have figured it out, if any "Parent" item only has one "Child" item, then the "Group" is not displayed correctly.

It appears that Groups must have more than just one sub-item/child.

With two or more sub-items...

Hi to all!

I am facing some other problem with megamenu.

I am getting 2 arrows in the megamenu (something with the <ul> is wrong).

I had made some costum changes to the css, but I had this problem from the first time.

I didn't manage to fix it. Any idea?

Is there a way to bring the second group on the second column! (So i have the first column with one group and the second column with two groups?)

Thank you.

Have you used a menu image as well? The CSS already has the smaller arrows set for it, you dont need to add the menu image also.

No it is not the menu image! Because when I go on the menu the hover effect works!!!
Also when I change the image in " #gk-nav div.childcontent ul li " of the gk_stuff.css
the arrow disappeares. Thiw cause all the arrows to disappear. So something else happents.

Thank for the answer

Hi

I'm not sure about Your question for the groups but please check the manual for the menu http://wiki.joomlart.com/wiki/JA_Templa ... Navigation

Please show me Your site so I can fix the arrow problem.

i think what he means with the menu is, to get the first collum to have 1 group, and collum2 to have 2 groups... that would make the hight be almost the same..

Yes that is the one part of my question. (With the use of a separator finally worked but...)

The other one is with the arrows problem. The site is www.e-advertising.gr

Thank you

the extra arrows come from the group... it seems you changed something in the css code to get the box around the menu, which also made the arrows... gotta wait for teit ;)

OK I managed to fix it in a way!!

I deleted the arrows from the ul tag in gk_stuff.css, made some changes in menu img tag in mega.css and selected arrow image as a menu image for all!

I do not have the hover effect but I can live with that!

Thank you all. ;)

Any better solution is always good to be told. Thank you again
