I'm getting an error trying to post a thread in the Coporate 2 forum. I've attached an image of the forum error and a text file for what I'm trying to post in the new thread. Is there something I need to do differently?

I am VERY new to JOOMLA so please bare with me.
I just dowloaded the Corporate 2 template and installed the ?gk_corporate2_quickstart_J!15.zip? package on a new DB. I got this error when I tried to open it. Can someone point me in the right direction?

ExplodedK has told me that installing JOOMLA first then running the quickstart may be the problem so I'm going to uninstall and use the quickstart to install both. I just wanted to see if anyone else ran into this problem.

i've had similar problems when posting something. try make a post with the text "test" and then edit it and set in your desired text...

for your problem, did you install joomla first? and then quickstart? cause this can give problems, all you need is the quickstart. it contain joomla aswell...

Yes, I did have JOOMLA installed first, then installed the template. I will uninstall and try with just the quickstart. Thank you!

Your suggestion of creating the new thread with a simple message, then going back in and editing it to the full message i wanted to send worked. Hopefully your suggestion with the installation is as easily fixed. :) Thanx!

teitbite sent me this:

"It looks like a problem with lack of GD Library. Please ask Your host provider to install it on the server."

So we're going to try that now.
