Change Background and move main maneu

I have two question

1.How to change default background into gradien white-blue??
2. How to move default main menu into for eg position "top1"

Gradient cannot be achived by code. You will need to use an image to do that.

Menu is a static element of the template. Moving it is possible with changing template code but that is a customization issue.
