Trashed Categories still show, even after deletion

Hello,

When deleting sample categories then adding new ones the old categories still show up in the parent category drop down menu.

So deleting the categories from administrator leaves them still in database instead of removing them.

How do I remove them completly?

in the dashboard of k2 theres a button called "trashed categories" - deleting here will delete for good - this is no gavick support question, and should maybe be asked in the k2 forums http://community.getk2.org/forum
