Hey, I'm trying to publish a menu to the "tools" position, but no mater what I do, I can't get it to appear? It appears ok if I choose "search", but things get very messy. You can see the site at vitaloximeters.co.uk ..

Also, I would like to apply the logo fix update, but I don't want to lose my customisations....is it possible to work out individual files to replace?

Thanks in advance,

Olly

Hi

"tools" position is specyfic one, also the "search" which is not very width. Please take a look at position dispaly on Your site http://vitaloximeters.co.uk/index.php?tp=1

I advise to create a new position for menu (instructions can be found on the forum) but be it may need some additional styling.

I can do it for You for a little fee as long it's considered as customization. But seeing Your site I think You'll work it out Yourself :).

I think You did a good job with the logo and menu but tell me if it need some changes.

Hey teitbite, thanks for the answer :) I'm struggling a bit with it really..hopefully I can sort it out, otherwise might need to take you up on your offer of customisation. Client needs the site finished in the next few days..thanks for your kind words anyway...trying to get a nice site, without making it too slow.

As a side note...I had to install my own IE6 warning script on the site...as users were getting no IE6 warning at all....I just thought gavick didn't come with them, until I saw in template manager, an option called "IE6 bar" and I have it set to on....what should this IE6 bar do? I have seen no sign of it! If there's an inbuilt warning I'd love to disable the one I manually installed...

there is indeed a inbuilt one...

take a look at this image :

guess to disable the one you installed you will have to uninstall it (extension > install/uninstall > plugins)

Ah thanks, I didn't even notice that! It was there though...I tihnk I'll leave both warnings on...can't hurt to tell them twice that their browser is crap.

It's one I got off google somewhere...it;s a bit more of an obvious one, and you can;'t click the screen...unless you scroll really far down.

Here we go: http://code.google.com/p/ie6-upgrade-warning/
