Hello to all..

I use Greek characters into the Gavick Photoslide GK3 component, into a slide, but in the front-end is not apearing anything.

If I put again Engllish characters all are OK.

So can anyone help, what I must change to some file with encoding? I dont know to fix this problem?

Thanks :)

Hi

You need to create cufon for that font style because I think it doesn't support greek letters.

creative_cow the cufon is a js script that takes a normal tff font and make it to a .js file which you can use on a www... you can see a cufon generator here...

http://cufon.shoqolate.com/generate/

the font's used are milford and swansea... play around with the settings and try replacing the template/fonts/ files... milford and swansea fonts can be found here

http://www.fontspace.com/roger-white/

i haven't found the right combination to make it as it is now with special chars...

i've tried to get team gavick to help out a bit in this thread.

For quik results go to

entension -> template manager -> gk_corporate2

in menu fontschange the font style from cufon to standard fonts or

For greek characters you have to select option:

Greek and Coptic
The whole Greek and Coptic Unicode block. For more information, see Greek in Unicode. (up to 144 glyphs)

BTW please remember - some fonts doesn't support as a TTF these characters so cufon font also won't contain its.
