[SOLVED] How to install the update for corporate2?

Hi there,

I have just noticed that an update file for the corporate 2 template was released yesterday.
How do I install it without deleting the work I have already done on the previous version?

All I can advice is to see the dates of the last file modification on Your server and leave them on the server and overwrite everything else.

Or change the names of the last modyficated files and overwrite everything and than rename it like they should be watching the site. Unfortunately probably some files can be modyficated in both versions ATTENTION UNIX USERS: Renamed files inside directories will be deleted while directory copy.

So the best would be to make a backup, copy new version and than copy the changed code watching the site changes.

I wish there was a way of upgrading a template from joomla backend without all this hard work from the server.

What is standard procedure to update gavick template, just overwrite template folder or what!?

Yes overwitting is enought. But please be careful if You did made any changes to the files. The best way is to copy all changes right after overwritting.
