K2 error

Hi

After installing Corporate 2 from the quick start package K2 component doesn't function. Links from menu (K2-Item, for example) are going to this:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function mb_internal_encoding() in Z:home192.168.0.65wwwviseccomponentscom_k2helpersroute.php on line 55


From the backend I can see that the component is installed and enabled, but when I try to edit item and push SAVE button I see the message like this:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function mb_internal_encoding() in Z:home192.168.0.65wwwvisecadministratorcomponentscom_k2tablesk2item.php on line 74


Something is wrong with encoding, but I have no idea how to manage this problem.

for me it is a bug in K2 component - it shouldn't use mb_ functions because it isn't standard PHP extension. But the only solution - enable support for multibyte strings (mb extension) on your server (I think that you have to contact with your hosting provider).
