How are the steps to install corporate 2?

Hi everybody

I am a new user of this tools!!

I ve ready installed joomla 1.5.17 on my hosting ( hostmonster.com).
How I must be procedure with the installation?
...with which one of all package I got from the corporate 2 )??

I guess all of gavick pro also have quickstart packpage.
Just download the zip file,and unzip it,upload all the files to your FTP server.
Run the install.php,enter all the needed information.The site come out.

Quickstart package is really good for people who don't know joomla(like me).It look like the same as demo page.

I ve really install the gk_corporate2_J!15.tar package, over the joomla installation I have it on my server...all is ok apparently

I followed the pdf guide..but its not look the same as demo page..why??

It took like the same demo page...but I can not see the red frame with picture at frontpage as deme page...why??

maybe I left something?? or need activate something???

Please tell how can run the install.php?? ...from ftp?? from website???

What is your website url?

If you are not using the QUICKSTART package,you will need to install,and enable all the plugins,components and other extra extentions.

Quickstart package is include all the plugins,extentions exactly the same in demo.

The zip file you install is not quickstart.

I give you my example
I am using ICKI Sport,so my quickstart file will named as "gk_icki_sports_quickstart_J!15.zip" <--- this is the zip file for quickstart

You needed to re-install (in case if you do not know how to build it by yourself.

In download page section of Corporate 2,you will see at least 4 files for you to download.One of the zip file is quickstart package,named should like this "gk_corporate2_quickstart_J!15.zip"

Download this package,unzip it,and upload in your FTP.

I read your website,the corporate 2 was installed successfully,but you will need to upload all the plugins,extentions and other extra stuff manually by yourself.

So,If you do not have confidence or guarantee you can do it,just delete it,and install quickstart package.

About red slide,you need to go to Extention -->Install/Uninstall to upload the slide and enable.(As far as you are not install quickstart,so the package will not install for you,you need to do it by yourself)

install.php -- run the install.php to install

I think Corporate 2 is using GK News Pro with news_highlighter.
You need to install module news_highlighter and enable it.

Well,if you feel headache in it,why not reinstall to quickstart package?

To install the Quickstart you must to upload the files and make a normal joomla installation.
then, you get a web like the demo

oh..you shouldn't upload the subfolder if you prefer to use root as your directory.
You should just copy all quickstart files and upload to your root.

Don't give up!You do a good job like me at the beginning!!
You just need to copy all quickstart files to root,then you can completely to use your paid theme.

I don't know if there's any way for you to restore.But I think it is nevermind,because you should install again since now it is not in your root directory.

Keep it up!Just one step then finish install!!!

you better create a new db for this installation
just in case,to avoid any problems

by other side,..you know How can start change the content and the logo ???

i would make a completly new database and delete all old files and folders and then throw the quickstart up. the quickstart have everything incl a joomla install. so only the quickstart is nessesary...

for the admin restore, that is not posibble.. you will have to go to the php my admin on your host (or another php editor) and go to the jos_users and change the hash password ...

for password to be joomla enter : 226776f356d7ecf58b60bab12a05d38
as the hash md5 checksum...
