This might have to be with your PHP version installed on your Host server.
So, which PHP version are you using?

Try this:

Using text editor, open htaccess.txt and add this:

Code: Select all
SetEnv register_globals 0
SetEnv ZEND_OPTIMIZER 1
SetEnv magic_quotes 1
SetEnv PHP_VER 5

Save, upload and still using FTP, rename htaccess.txt to .htaccess

I'm not sure that this will work.

Cheers

I am having the same problem. After a quickstart install, I cannot access my admin section. I wasn't given the option to even create an admin password as the information seemed to have already been there. This is a BIG problem and a big delay for me. Please, please fix this as soon as possible!

This is a different problem, right?
You can't access administrator with username as "admin" and password as "demo" ?
Notice! lower case sensitive.

Ah, 'admin' and 'demo'. I must have not read the documentation. In any case, I fixed it by logging into the MySQL panel and changing it manually.

Hi I had the same problem during de the WE and finally I just found the solution (for me):

In the htaccess.txt file (in the base of the site) I add at the last line

SetEnv PHP_VER 5

and saved it without the extension txt > .htaccess, than upload it ont the site.

And now all works!!!

Cheers
