Adjustment in URL necessary

On the templates frontpage I have an article which makes this long URL:

http://www.mydomain.de/component/conten ... r-uns.html

But I would like to have the URL like this:

http://www.mydomain.de/ueber-uns.html

How to set up the Parameters and where?? All other links from the Menue are working.

Did you enabled SEF URL's in Joomla global settings ?

Yes, global SEF setting is enabled. All other URL's working as they should, except the article from that component. I can send you the Live-URL in a private message if needed..?

By 'that component' you mean some 3rd part extension or it is default Joomla article ?

I don't mean a 3rd party component. I've just installed the full Gavick template incl. the demo content. That demo was replaced with some text and photos.

Please check menu structure - in every menu item you have field called 'alias' the part of alias can be included in page URL.

The alias is visible in the URL:
http://www.mydomain.de/component/conten ... r-uns.html

But the URL should be like this:
http://www.mydomain.de/ueber-uns.html

The mentioned article-link is on the frontpage, like in your Demo, it is not related to any Menue.

Please check alias for article, to make sure that it is not any template related issue please switch template to beez (default one) and look at the URL on this template.

I left the alias in the article empty. Joomla generate it's own one. Switching over the Standard template from Corporate 2 to Beez has the same results, same URL.

The problem is only for the link from the frontpage. That was the original link from your demo:

http://demo.gavick.com/joomla15/apr2010 ... mpany-news

All links to articles from my menues are rewritten well without problems.

The link to home page is auto generated by Joomla as you can see the same effect is on beez. The link is generated to featured article. Maybe I don't see the problem but when I visit http://demo.gavick.com/joomla15/apr2010/ I don't see the URL mentioned in your previous post.
