[SOLVED] Mainbody position shows when empty

Hope somebody can help on this as my brain is fried from creating new module positions. I don't seem to be able to get rid of the white box in the 'mainbody' module position as shown below.

It only shows on the homepage so far but I have nothing in the front page manager and it definitely isn't a module that exists in module manager. It previously contained the name of the website that was written in the global configurations. Deleting that removed it from the 'mainbody' box but the box itself remains.

Corporate 2 template on J1.5. The template itself was installed without any demo content, maybe this has something to do with it?

Upon walking around the car park in the snow I returned with fresh eyes and noticed the 'show mainbody on front page' button in the template settings... upon feeling a bit stupid and pressing the button it fixed the problem right up.
